The agreement between you and Rostaff. We've kept it short and in plain language β€” what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.

Your data is yours

Your organization owns the information you put into Rostaff. We only use it to run the service for you.

Plain, fair terms

Written to be read, not to trip you up β€” no hidden clauses, no surprises.

Leave anytime

Stop using Rostaff whenever you like. What happens to your data is spelled out in our Privacy page.

In short

The short version

Use Rostaff fairly and lawfully, keep your team's data accurate and authorized, and we'll keep the service honest and running. The full details are below.

Agreeing to these terms

When you use Rostaff, you're agreeing to these terms. If you set up or administer an organization, you're accepting them on that organization's behalf, and you confirm you're allowed to. You're responsible for what happens under your login, so keep your password safe and your account details accurate. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use Rostaff.

Using Rostaff responsibly

Please use Rostaff only for legitimate workforce management, and within the law. Don't try to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, don't scrape it or use it to spread malware, and don't use it to misuse anyone's personal information. We may limit or pause access that puts the service or other people at risk.

Your data and your responsibilities

Your organization owns the information you put into Rostaff β€” your people, schedules, attendance, and records. You give us permission to store and process that information for the sole purpose of running Rostaff for you. In return, you're responsible for making sure it's accurate and that you're allowed to keep it β€” especially your team members' personal details. How we handle data is described in our Privacy page.

Attendance and location

If your organization turns on geofenced check-in, Rostaff records where a check-in happens so it can confirm your staff are on site. If you enable this, it's your responsibility to tell your team and to use the feature lawfully. Location is recorded only at check-in, and only when your organization has switched the feature on.

Plans and fees

Rostaff is free to use while we're actively building it. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll let you know in advance and you'll be able to decide whether to carry on. We'll never start charging you by surprise.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Rostaff running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. From time to time we'll improve, change, or retire features, and we'll occasionally take the service down for maintenance. We'll try to keep any disruption small.

Ending your use

You can stop using Rostaff at any time. We may suspend or close access that breaks these terms, or that risks the safety or security of other people using the service. If your access ends, what happens to your data follows our Privacy page β€” historical records are kept where there's a reason to, and removed where there isn't.

Our rights

Rostaff's software, design, and name belong to us. While these terms apply, you're welcome to use the service for your organization β€” but that doesn't transfer any ownership of Rostaff itself to you.

Service β€œas is” and liability

Rostaff is provided β€œas is”, without warranties of any kind. We can't guarantee it will fit every purpose or be free of mistakes. To the fullest extent the law allows, Rostaff isn't liable for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using β€” or not being able to use β€” the service.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms as Rostaff evolves. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll give you notice. Continuing to use Rostaff after an update means you accept the new terms. Questions about anything here? Email us at [email protected].
